Frauds on the Internet are present everywhere. We can be victims of scams that put our security and privacy at risk in different ways. We can receive an e-mail, for example, which is actually a Phishing attack. Also simply with an SMS they could steal our data and passwords if we make a mistake and be victims of these SMS frauds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Through text messages on the mobile we can be victims of many attacks. Keep in mind that a few years ago it was possibly the most widely used communication medium in many cases. A way to send a short text to someone immediately. But nowadays it is very little used by users and we really only receive SMS with verification codes, advertising and attempted attacks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Those who operate these fraud known as smishing are people, mostly of Central American origin; Authorities have managed to verify that some are from Nicaragua, the country from where this type of fraud is carried out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To protect ourselves from these types of attacks we can take measures such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
