At the beginning of the 90’s, HTML appeared, over the years it has evolved, reaching version 5 today. We tell you about the changes between the HTML and HTML5 versions, so you can see the differences during the change that the HTML language has undergone from its first version to the most recent.

This version establishes a unique syntax to interact with all the elements that have been loaded into the memory of the computer. This new version is not recognized in the old versions of the browsers, so we recommend the user to update them to the most current version in order to enjoy the full potential that HTML5 offers us.

Originally promised to bring many more features to the HTML standard and to web browsers. And we all sin of being excessively optimistic, calling HTML5 the absolute future of practically everything related to computing.

With HTML5 we have seen promises of all kinds: from a Web not dependent on plugins until the entire future of applications for our operating systems goes through that new standard. Not surprisingly, many of the HTML5 improvements go through improving the integration of applications with browsers (and these with operating systems), or with access to hardware of the Web applications themselves.

What advantages can we find in HTML5

▸Pages go from being static documents to interactive applications.

▸Recognize JavaScript as a central dynamic component.

▸Easy to read and interpret code.

▸Recognize other dynamic technologies, such as PHP.

▸Development and maintenance of a simpler and more intuitive code.
