Vulnerabilities are a very serious problem when dealing with them because these problems can be exploited by hackers or unwanted people and we see some of these MacOS vulnerabilities that have been found over time in the MacOS system.

The vulnerability affects the latest version of the operating system for Apple computers, macOS Mojave, and allows access to stored passwords through malicious applications. This could include logins for financial sites, Amazon, Netflix, and many more applications.

▸CVE-2020-3829

Vulnerability in the libxpc library. An out of bounds reading that can grant a specific application the privilege escalation in the system mainly affecting: macOS High Sierra 10.13.6, macOS Mojave 10.14.6, and macOS Catalina 10.15.2

▸CVE-2020-3836

A malicious application can determine the design of the kernel memory. The good news is that the problem has been fixed by improving memory management mainly affected: macOS High Sierra 10.13.6, macOS Mojave 10.14.6 and macOS Catalina 10.15.2

▸CVE-2020-3837

Memory corruption that can allow an application to execute arbitrary code with kernel privileges, the error was solved with improvements in memory handling by the system this vulnerability affected: macOS Catalina 10.15.2

▸CVE-2020-3838

This vulnerability affected macOS High Sierra 10.13.6, macOS Mojave 10.14.6, macOS Catalina 10.15.2 and what it did was that this vulnerability in the permission logic that allows an application to execute arbitrary code with system privileges. This permission logic has been improved.

The good news is that these vulnerabilities or most have already been corrected but unfortunately new ones can always emerge and that is what new products or updates have.
