A “Stalkerware”, also known as “spouseware”, “stalker virus” or “software for spouses” is an application used to spy used by insecure users or who distrust their partners, who install the tool on their mobile , and thus they know every detail of what they look at, do, talk or search on the Internet. As we well know, this is not new, but nowadays, commercial version spy applications, with which to stalk your partner, have given wings to the matter and have been sweeping the market for a few years. But beware, they are illegal and their practice is included as a crime in the Penal Code.
The most contemporary and popular tools among the compulsively jealous are the so-called ‘Stalkerware’ or stalker virus, a series of applications that spy on what you do with your mobile phone and where you are at any given time and then make all this information available to anyone. spies on you without your consent, usually your partner or ex-partner.
An advantage for the spy user is that stalkerware is difficult for the spy user to detect. Full control of what the infected mobile is doing is received by the other person from their own mobile, tablet or computer, and that information is hosted on external servers on the internet. There are cases in which stalkerware apps come to your phone with a different appearance, messages of images in which you click, for example, from known or unknown people, the best you can do is restore the device’s settings, the ones it came from the factory, that you format it and if you want to be even more secure, install software that can detect these types of apps.
