IprediaOS is a GNU / Linux distribution that allows us to communicate over the internet anonymously, and in this distro all network traffic is automatically encrypted and anonymized with i2p. This network is made up of a set of nodes that form incoming and outgoing unidirectional virtual tunnels, in which each connected client contributes to providing service to the network, allowing the exchange of secure and encrypted information, without the sender or receiver or any of the nodes are identifiable.

In i2P all data is wrapped in several layers of encryption (ElGamal / AES + SessionTags), through a peer to peer distribution system, designed to run or access different types of services such as eepsites (i2P websites), file exchange, mail, etc.

Another difference with respect to some of those distros that we have already talked about on other occasions is that IprediaOS is not the usual derivative of Debian, in this case those responsible for the project have decided on Fedora in the GNOME Shell 3.4.2 environment or LXDE.

This distro comes with an anonymous chat program called Xchat which is a popular IRC client in addition to having an evolution mail client that is also configured and another couple of interesting tools included by default are the Wireshark network protocol analyzer and SELinux the security module for the linux kernel that Fedora users know so well.

The objective of I2P is not only anonymity, since it is designed to build a secure network with its own applications, and in this distro we can see some examples of programs such as the Robert i2p bittorrent client, in addition, this distro can be run in live mode or install directly on our hard drive. There are two different versions for download, one with the GNOME desktop, which is the one I have been testing, and a lighter version with the LXDE desktop, ideal for older computers, with less powerful hardware or simply for users who prefer a more classic flavor.
