Linux Foundation – The future of Linux

The Linux Foundation is a non-profit technology consortium established to embrace the growth of Linux. This was born from the union of Free Standards Group and Open Source Development Labs on January 21, 2007. These two consortia had the same objectives within the market adaptation and standardization of Hardware and Software components for the GNU / Linux Operating System.
