What does MX Linux offer us and what features can we find in this
According to the official description it is a medium weight operating system designed to combine an elegant and efficient desktop with a simple configuration, high stability, solid performance and medium size. MX Linux is based on stable Debian, although it offers the possibility to access Debian Testing packages and Backports, as well as includes integration with Flatpak; and uses a pretty tuned Xfce desktop environment.
It is worth noting that although this distribution is based on Debian, it uses Sysvinit technology to replace the most up-to-date systemd, something that is a great advantage for many. Likewise, thanks to its high stability, easy learning curve, wide community and good looks, MX Linux presents itself as a hassle-free system for all types of users.
Another feature that it offers us is that on the desktop we find a layout with a panel on the left and an unsuccessful mix of dark Arc themes for the windows, a modification of Greybird for the colors and widgets theme and Papirus as an icon theme . It is worth going directly to the appearance section in the Xfce configuration and putting everything Arc.
Counting on an aesthetics and layout of the desktop quite free which can be configured to the taste of the users in a few minutes. The really cool and real added value of MX Linux is shown when you first log in, with the welcome screen and the options it offers.
