PlayOnLinux is a program that allows us to easily install and use many games and programs that are exclusively developed for the Miscrosoft operating system. Although it is true that today there are many games that are 100% compatible with GNU / Linux operating systems, there are still some that are not and we would like to play them on our Linux.
This is why PlayOnLinux was developed, to cover the maximum of that percentage of games that are not compatible.
PlayOnLinux does not need any Windows license to function since it is based on the Wine program and uses all the features it has, avoiding the user the complexity of using Wine.
This program is free and free so you can collaborate in the PlayOnLinux project. This software is written in Bash and Python, so if you are programmers and want to contribute to the project, you will be able to do it easily since they are very simple languages.
Like everything, in these types of programs in which we insert a Windows keep, they have certain points that still have to be polished. Some of these errors are a lower performance than what we would have in Windows, a less fluid image, less detailed graphics and that all the games that exist for Windows are not supported.
