Zorin OS 15 is the new version of the GNU / Linux distribution that from its beginnings has sought an approach to users of other platforms. Especially those of Windows, with adaptation of visual aspects, the inclusion of its own tools that facilitate its use or enhancing others such as WINE to run Windows applications. For this reason, it is one of the favorite distros and is present in several users, always thinking of a gradual and non-dramatic change for a user who is approaching the Linux universe for the first time. A distro known for offering customization options that bring it closer to Windows 10 and macOS that now reaches one of its most outstanding evolutions: Zorin OS 15. A version based on Ubuntu 18.04.2 LTS, the Linux 4.18 kernel, an adaptation of the environment GNOME 3.30 desktop and, as one of the main novelties, Zorin Connect, a solution to integrate the system into Android through an application based on GSConnect and KDE Connect.

The new Zorin OS Integration called Zorin Connect
Zorin Connect, integration with Android. Through this application, the relationship between the Zorin OS team and our Android device is strengthened by synchronizing notifications, offering access to the terminal’s photo gallery, sharing files between the devices or controlling the playback of multimedia content on the computer from the phone.
Zorin OS 15 is free and free software and you can download it in “Core” versions and the aforementioned “Lite” light version. If after a while you discover that you like the distro, they sell a special “Ultimate Edition” version with more support and premium components for $ 39.
Zorin installs like any other operating system (download the ISO, burn it on a pendrive and install) because using Linux has never been so easy. You can also try it as a Live CD without touching anything on your computer and if you don’t want to replace Windows.
